1. What ATI specific products are included
in the AMD CSIP program?
For the current stability period (begun September 1st, 2006), the ATI Professional
Series program includes two outstanding motherboards featuring the Radeon
Xpress 1150 series:

2. What is the difference between the Radeon Xpress 1100 chipset and the
1150 chipset?
The Radeon Xpress 1150 offers higher graphics performance and additional
features such as component video.
3. Is ATI new to AMD CSIP?
No. ATI was the first chipset vendor to provide support for AMD CSIP and
was AMD’s launch partner at the inception of the CSIP program. ATI
has always worked with AMD and its ODM partners to deliver value-added business
platforms to the channel and will continue to deliver high-quality, stable
chipset products for commercial use.
4. What AMD technology/platforms do ATI Chipsets support?
The ATI Professional Series chipsets are fully compliant with AMD CSIP requirements
and provides support for AMD AM2 socket, AMD64 technology, AMD Enhanced Virus
Protection, AMD PowerNow!™ technology and AMD Cool’n’Quiet™ technology.
5. Are the ATI Professional Series chipset products Windows Vista™ premium
products?
Yes. The Radeon Xpress 1150 chipset integrates high performance graphics
into AMD platforms delivering the best solution for business applications.
This includes meeting the requirements for Windows Vista™ Premium logo
and support for the high resolution 3D Aero™ user interface.
6. What display features do the ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Series support?
The Radeon Xpress 1100 Series chipset support multiple display features
including:
- ATI SurroundView™ - support for up to 3 monitors when
combined with an ATI discrete graphics card
- Dual Independent displays – CRT/LCD, TV/LCD
- Plug and Play Monitors
- Support for flat panel displays via DVI
7. What is the ATI CSIP driver?
ATI Catalyst 6.7 has been selected as the CSIP Gold Driver for the stability

8. How does ATI certify their motherboards for CSIP?
ATI conducts intensive testing on multiple motherboard samples to ensure
stable operation. Our tests incorporate real-world application, synthetic
stress and benchmark tests to ensure ATI’s CSIP motherboards exhibit
the highest quality and stability before they are CSIP certified. These tests
performed by the ATI Certification team are visually monitored to ensure
any visual anomalies are caught, investigated and corrected before a product
is certified by ATI.
9. What are the main differences between SB460 and SB600?
