High-speed Dynamic Imaging from Carl Zeiss
powered by ATI
A strong team in digital microscopy - Carl Zeiss and ATI’s
FireGL™
Whether you are working in histology, pathology, neurosciences, cell
biology or pharmacy – complex biomedical applications call for high-performance
digital microscope systems. Carl Zeiss rises to these challenges and, with
the flexible solutions it delivers, provides an important boost to science
and research. In addition to the microscope and camera, the optimally tailored
hardware and software of a Zeiss system also contribute to a meaningful
result. In this area Carl Zeiss places its trust in the products and considerable
experience of ATI.
High-end digital imaging – fast and reproducible with ISV-certified
OpenGL® drivers
Graphics card drivers are one of the software components of an image
acquisition system that are subject to constant changes in their functional
scope. Once a new driver has been installed, it is therefore often difficult
to configure the graphics card optimally for the application in question.
Special software drivers developed by ATI for Carl Zeiss and certified in
accordance with the ISV standard promise to provide a solution to this problem.
The ISV profile supplied guarantees that the complete range of functions
is always available to the user of the AxioVision image processing and analysis
program – even after a driver update.
The OpenGL software interface supported by AxioVision, in combination
with the impressive computing power of the ATI Fire GL family, makes
it possible to generate 3-dimensional displays of cell and tissue sections
with breathtaking
quality and speed. Further advantages result from the additional
functions developed especially for Carl Zeiss. As an AxioVision user you
will therefore
benefit, for example, from the color temperature setting integrated
directly in the graphics card driver. This guarantees optimum color accuracy
that
can be reproduced across systems. Medical diagnoses can therefore
be made reliably and with a high level of accuracy even over long distances.
