- OfficeFX Intro has all the capabilities and performance of OfficeFX,
allowing you to examine its possibilities, and its behavior on your system,
before purchasing OfficeFX for commercial use.

After upgrading to OfficeFX, the FXThemes will no longer be watermarked.
- Using \Product \ Available Products
- The Available Products option connects to the Internet to check the
availability of new products. If your connection to the Internet goes through
a proxy server, firewall, or if you have pop-up blockers installed, you
may see the “OfficeFX Server Connection Error” dialog. This
dialog allows you to enter your server name and port, then retry the internet
connection. If your connection to the Internet still fails, you can see
the error details and/or send an error report to FXSupport@instanteffects.com.
Note that some pop-up blocker programs must be disabled before the Available
Products option can connect to the Internet.

follow InstantSSL™ standards for securing your private information.

Inc.
-
When running OfficeFX Intro, the only product displayed is the upgrade
to OfficeFX or OfficeFX Professional.
-
When running OfficeFX, the dialog only shows products that have not
been purchased on your current machine.
- Installing OfficeFX
Note: Administrator permissions are required for installing OfficeFX.
- 1) Run the OfficeFX Installer from the desktop icon. Note: OfficeFX
must be installed from a local folder. It will not install across a LAN.
a. If your system has .NET installed, you will be taken
to the OfficeFX Installation and System Check dialog
- 2) If your system does not have the .NET Framework installed, you will
receive an alert with instructions on obtaining it with Windows Update.
.NET is not automatically included in the Critical Updates. You must scroll
down through the Windows XP Custom Installation, Optional Software Updates
until you see Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1. Click on Add.
- The OfficeFX Installer dialog
displays the readiness of your system.
a. Follow the instructions relating to any fields marked
in “red” or “yellow”.
b. Items 1-4 must be “green” for OfficeFX
to function and for the install to proceed.
c. Note: If item 5. Graphics Hardware is still
yellow, then your graphics hardware is not on our list
of supported systems. You may elect to proceed with
the install, and OfficeFX may run acceptably. Instant
Effects does not recommend installing on such systems
and cannot guarantee that future releases will perform
well or even run on them.
- Select Intro Product, OfficeFX or OfficeFX Professional.
- Choose
Finish Installation at the bottom of the dialog.
a. The Installer will connect to the Internet to download
the primary OfficeFX installation
file (approximately
40MB in size).
b. The resulting .msi file should be retained so
OfficeFX can quickly restore any missing
or damaged
files it
encounters in daily operation.
- Once this last install phase is completed, PowerPoint is launched
automatically with the Welcome to OfficeFX Quick Tour. If you are
new to OfficeFX, we recommend you view this presentation in PowerPoint,
and then
view it within OfficeFX. If you do not have time to run through the
Quick Tour right after you install, you can review it later by clicking
on the
Welcome to OfficeFX icon that has been placed on your desktop.Technical
