ATI customers
to receive (US) $20 rebate on purchase of
Radeon® 8500 or Radeon® 7500 and Windows XP® operating system
Promotion marries high-performance graphics and high function OS

MARKHAM, Ontario –
ATI Technologies Inc. (TSE:ATY, NASDAQ: ATYT), a world leader in the supply of graphics, video and multimedia solutions, today announced that customers who purchase either a Radeon® 8500 or Radeon® 7500 graphics board between October 25, 2001, and December 31, 2001, are eligible to receive a (US) $20 cash rebate from ATI.
To receive their (US) $20, ATI customers simply print off the related rebate coupon located at ATI’s Web site (http://www.ati.com), complete it and mail it to the address listed on the coupon, accompanied by their proof of purchase (dated sales receipt).
“The considerable performance and productivity benefits associated with a Windows XP-enabled Radeon 8500 or Radeon 7500 graphics board are further enhanced by this special promotion,” said Jewelle Schiedel-Webb, Director, Desktop Marketing, ATI Technologies Inc. “Windows XP extends the personal computing experience by uniting PCs, devices and services – and the Radeon 8500 and Radeon 7500 create ground-breaking visual experiences within that operating environment.”
This latest promotion from ATI will save customers about 7 to 10 percent on the manufacturers’ suggested retail price (MSRP) of these products. The Radeon 8500 graphics board has an MSRP of (US) $299, while the Radeon 7500 graphics card has an MSRP of (US) $199.
