today announced that the Radeon® 9000 PRO Mac Edition
is now available at leading retailers worldwide. Based on
the award-winning Radeon® 9000 PRO visual processor,
the Radeon® 9000 PRO Mac Edition delivers high-performance
and numerous cutting-edge features at an affordable price.

Featuring a high-performance quad-pipe rendering engine with
robust OpenGL® support and advanced programmable pixel
and vertex shaders, the Radeon® 9000 PRO Mac Edition
delivers an exhilarating visual experience for today's greatest
games, 2D design and 3D animation.
One of the special features of the Radeon® 9000 PRO
Mac Edition is its ability to support two independent digital
flat panels simultaneously, including Apple Cinema HD Displays
at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. The graphics board includes
one ADC connector, one DVI connector and one DVI to VGA adapter
and is capable of driving dual CRT's, dual flat panels or
combinations of each with the appropriate adapters.
