ATI Delivers Catalyst® 3.2 To Enhance Multimedia Computing Experience
ATI's innovative software suite receives Multimedia Center updates

MARKHAM, Ontario – ATI Technologies
Inc. (TSX:ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT) today unveiled Catalyst® 3.2,
a high-quality, reliable graphics software suite that includes
unified driver and software applications to enable its Radeon® family
of graphics products. This latest release features ATI’s
industry-recognized Multimedia Center 8.1 software suite.
Multimedia Center is a suite of applications that provide
best-in-class players for the enhanced enjoyment of audio
and video content on a PC. Accessed by an easy-to-use desktop
toolbar, end users may select from a variety of multimedia
players, optimized to use the installed hardware to produce
high quality graphic display of TV, DVD, or captured video,
or fully featured playback of CDs or captured audio. Multimedia Center provides advanced options such as Still Capture, Closed
Caption functions, Dual Subtitle display while watching DVDs,
and a specialized library application to manage multimedia
files.

In addition to the new capabilities for the Radeon-based
desktop graphics products, Catalyst 3.2 with Multimedia Center
8.1 delivers advanced features to the many All-in-Wonder® users
-- from the current best-selling All-in-Wonder® 9700
PRO to the long-standing All-in-Wonder® Radeon®.
These capabilities include MULTVIEW™ for dual TV tuner
input that provides Picture-in-Picture support, closed caption
database search, VideoSoap™ filtering for personal
video recording captures and frame reconstruction, as well
as new file management options in Multimedia Library.
