    ATI Enterprise Products Incorporate Support for AMD Opteron™ Processor-based Systems

    Tuesday April 22, 2003

    Markham, Ontario – ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX: ATY, NASDAQ: ATYT) today announced that it will incorporate support for the new AMD Opteron™ processor in its Windows and Linux drivers for servers and workstations. ATI's enterprise products will work with the AMD Opteron processor to deliver solid, stable solutions for commercial use. The AMD64 architecture, combined with ATI graphics, will support increased graphics data throughput, enabling improved performance for CAD, digital content creation or storage management systems.

    ATI’s long tenure in the graphics industry has built a significant customer base in the enterprise sector. ATI continues to ship millions of RAGE™ family graphics accelerators, enabling servers around the world. Additionally, ATI’s Radeon® and FIREGL™ products power servers and workstations in institutions, studios, engineering firms and data management houses around the world.
