    ATI demonstrating leadership and gaining momentum in Korean market

    Partnering with leading OEMs and ODMs to deliver Radeon graphics

    Thursday November 20, 2003

    MARKHAM, Ontario – ATI Technologies Inc, (TSX: ATY, NASDAQ: ATYT) today announced its Radeon® graphics, including the award winning Radeon® 9800 and Radeon® 9200, have been chosen by leading OEMs and ODMs in Korea including LG, TriGem and SIGMACOM.

    LG Electronics, a leader in consumer and commercial electronics, is now offering systems powered by the Radeon 9800 and Radeon 9200 graphics. LGE PCs are distributed through major OEMs and through retail under the LG brand. The Radeon graphics will be offered in desktop systems by LG-IBM. The Radeon 9800 system includes a 2.6GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 processor and 512MB memory. The Radeon 9200 system includes a 2.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor and 256MB memory. LGE will continue to offer Mobility™ Radeon® graphics in its mobile PC solutions.

    TriGem Computer Inc., a leading supplier of PCs in Korea, has added Radeon 9200 graphics to its lineup of Dreamsys computers. TriGem distributes its systems through leading OEMs as well as through retail. The Dreamsys, a SlimPC system featuring a 2.6GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor and 512 or 256MB memory, and the XPC, a MicroATX system featuring a 2.6GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor and 512 or 256MB memory, will be powered by Radeon 9200 graphics enabling customers to play the latest games with ease.

    SIGMACOM, a graphics card builder based in Korea, has chosen Radeon 9800 and Radeon 9200 series graphics to power its newest SIGMA graphics cards. SIGMACOM distributes its graphics cards directly to end users through the retail channel and also sells to OEMs for their PC systems. These latest products, the SIGMA Radeon 9200 and the SIGMA Radeon 9800, will be added to the list of Radeon-based graphics cards offered by SIGMACOM.
