Radeon elected
"Most Innovative Product" by European System Integrators
-
The new generation of ATI graphics accelerators wins most prestigious
award at Integrator Forum Europe 2000
Munich,
May 17, 2000 - At the Integrator Forum
Europe 2000 in Monte Carlo/Monaco (May 17th to 20th), ATI's new
graphics processor Radeon was awarded the prize of "Most Innovative
Product" by the participating system builders. The event brought
together 67 computer component manufacturers and 193 system builders
from 26 European countries. The latter represent more than 6 million
PCs sold in Europe, i.e. a purchasing power of over USD 4 billion.
Also elected for "Best Presentation", ATI won two out of five
awards granted.
The
Integrator Forum Europe provides a platform for uniting system
builders and vendors in one location with the aim of establishing
new business relations and strengthening existing partnerships.
During individual vendor sessions, manufacturers present their
products, technologies and strategic orientations to a large number
of system builders. At this occasion, system builders can cast
a vote for those manufacturers who in their view have contributed
most to the development of the industry.
Winning
the award of "Most Innovative Product" is an important milestone
for the successful introduction of ATI's new Radeon graphics processor.
It shows yet again that ATI responds fully to the needs and expectations
of the market, especially the OEM market, ATI's core target.
