Q1 What is the Asia Pacific Partner Programme?
A1: The Asia Pacific Partner Programme is a fully integrated partner program covering sales, marketing and technical support. Our goal is to open the lines of communication and increase the information flow between ATI and our partners and at the same time, help fund our partners efforts to promote ATI's products and brand recognition. The accrued marketing fund may be used (subject to approval from ATI) by the Partners to offset advertising and promotional costs. For further information please visit www.ati.com.

Q3 How does the Asia Pacific Partner Programme work?
A3: In order to become a member of the SI Partner Programme, you need to go to www.ati.com/designpartners/appp/ and fill in a registration form. You will then receive a login name and password giving you access to the exclusive Asia Pacific Partner Programme website.
To qualify for the accrual of a Partner Fund, you need to buy a minimum quantity of ATI-based boards per month (The minimum quantity request, pls contact with local ATI representative). You can then apply to use the accrued funds on promotional initiatives which is subject to approval by ATI. You must obtain pre-approval for the marketing funds by first submitting a pre-approval form. Once the approval is received, and the initiative taken place, submit the APPP marketing funds claim form along with all invoices and documentation. ATI will refund the agreed amount by fund transfer to a nominated bank account.

Q6 How many boards do I need to purchase per month in order to qualify for the accrual of funds?
A6: A minimum of ATI-based board products per month must be purchased from an approved ATI board partner in order to be eligible for fund accrual. (The minimum quantity request, pls contact with local ATI representative).
   
Q7 What happens if I purchase less than the minimum quantity request of ATI-based boards in a particular month?
A7: You would not accrue funds for the particular month.
   
Q8 From which ATI board partners do I have to buy boards in order to accrue funds?
A8: In order to qualify for fund accrual, boards have to be bought from an approved ATI board partner. ATI board partners include: ASUS, CP, Creative, ECS, ELSA, FIC, GeCube ,Gigabyte, Hightech , Sapphire, Tyan, Wistron, Xpertvision, YUAN. Please see the APPP website for an up to date listing of approved partners.
   
Q9 What marketing activities can I claim approval for?
A9: The funds accrued can be used for various marketing activities including print advertising, web advertising, direct mail and other activities to promote ATI and our partners. For an up to date list of approved activities or for any questions regarding the validity of the activity, please visit the APPP website or contact your local ATI representative.

Q10 What backup evidence do I need to provide when
   
Q10a: seeking approval for the use of funds?
A10a: a: In order to get prior approval for the use of funds, the Partners needs to complete an online Pre-Approval form, which requests detailed information on the planned marketing activity.
   
Q10b submitting the claim for refund?
A10b: When submitting the claim for refund, the System Integrator needs to supply proof of the Marketing activity together with invoices for approved expenses.
   
Q11 What happens if I want to do a marketing activity, which is not on your marketing table?
A11: Each proposed activity may be looked at on a case-by-case basis at the Pre-approval stage. Please provide to the Asia Pacific Partner Programme team or directly to your marketing contact at ATI.
   
Q12 How long will the accrued funds be held before they expire?
A12: The accrued marketing funds expire after 6 months.
   
Q13 What happens if I (the Partners) return all or part of product(s) purchased, to my Supplier?
A13: RMA terms and conditions are determined by individual AIB manufacturers. Returned products do not qualify for Asia Pacific Partner Programme marketing fund accrual.
   
Q14 Do Cables, CDs and other accessories purchased from ATI, qualify for marketing fund accrual?
A14: No, the Asia Pacific Partner Program is for the purchase of Approved ATI Add-in-Board Partner graphics cards that use ATI ASIC products.
   
Q15 What level of security is ATI using for the SI Partner Programme online site?
A15: We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer ), which is recognised as the highest security available within the industry.
   
Q16 Will my profile information be available to other System Integrators, AIBs or others?
A16: No, each System Integrator will only be able to view information relevant to his/her company. ATI will not provide profile information to other Partners, AIBs or other parties.

A17: Please visit www.ati.com/designpartners/appp/, you will find an outline of how to re-apply for your username and password.
   
Q18 Why was the Asia Pacific Partner Programme introduced in Asia Pacific?
A18: The Asia Pacific Partner Programme was introduced in China, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore to help our partners to increase sales and fund activities that will help increase business for ATI and our APPP participants.
