Tip 7: Performance Slider

Action |

Choose your preferred setting on the performance slider. ATI Catalyst™ provides
a simple tool to make your makes run faster and look better. A simple slider
bar with 5 preset options allows you to choose the right balance of performance
and image quality.

Benefit |
|
Older and slower systems will prefer to set the slider bar to a higher
performance setting. Newer and faster system will prefer to set the slider
to a higher quality setting.

Checklist |

a. Right click anywhere on your desktop
b. Left click on the ATI Catalyst™Control Center option
c. Click the View Menu Option
d. Select the Standard View Option (notice the list of items under Graphics Settings)
e. Select the 3D option under Graphic Settings
f. You are presented with a 3D preview window and a standard Setting slider underneath.
Move the slider all the way to the left for best performance. Move the slider
all the way to the right for best image quality.
g. Click Apply
