AMD Imageon™ M100 series of media processors for handheld devices are
specifically tailored for next generation, high-performance mobile phone applications.
They feature fully self-contained audio and video processing to bring the ultimate
multimedia experience to mobile phones. Phones powered by an Imageon M100-series
media processor can deliver the experience of a Digital Camera (up to 12 Mega-Pixel),
Camcorder, Television, Streaming Video Player and Digital Audio Player at home,
at the office or on the go.
They feature TV-Out capability as well as independent audio/video encode/decode
paths and Picture-in-Picture support for video telephony applications.
Driven by the highly optimized Imageon™ architecture with enhanced PowerPlay™ power
management technology, mobile devices will benefit from ultra low power dissipation
resulting in much longer battery life.
