Q1: What is the All-in-Wonder® VE?

The All-in-Wonder VE is an all-in-one graphics card that provides 64 MB of DDR memory, awesome graphics performance, TV and PVR functionality, and video capture and editing features right on your PC. It is a PCI graphics card that will fit into any PC and will provide higher performance than the integrated graphics found in PCs today.

 
Q2: How does the All-in-Wonder® VE compare to other graphics cards? All-in-Wonder® products?
 
A2:
Unlike many graphics cards in the industry, the All-in-Wonder® VE has a PCI interface so it will plug into any PC out there. It will also bring the All-in-Wonder® functionality to the mainstream user for a fraction of the cost. The All-in-Wonder® VE comes bundled with Multimedia Center™ 7.9 and Pinnacle Studio 8 - ATI Version to satisfy all your multimedia needs.
 
Q3: What operating systems does the All-in-Wonder® VE support?
 
A3: The All-in-Wonder® VE supports Windows® XP, Windows® 2000, and Windows® ME. Windows® ME drives may be used on Windows® 98/95 systems.

 
Q4: What is the difference between the European and North American versions of the All-in-Wonder® VE?

North American Version:
  • NTSC tuner supporting North America, Japan and Latin America as well as other NTSC countries
  • Closed captioning
  • Closed caption features such as HotWords and TV Magazine.
  • Software bundle for the retail product may be different.
  • The Interactive Program Guide.
European Version:
  • Bundled Teletext application
  • Integrated Teletext subtitle to closed caption converter for use in TV Magazine, TV-on-Demand™ or CC in a Window
  • European tuner supporting all European countries as well as other PAL/Secam countries including China and Hong Kong.
  • Additive Autoscan - add new channels to the existing channel list via a re-scan.
  • Multistandard Autoscan - multichannel lists are now supported along with the ability to automatically detect the standard used for each channel during an autoscan.
  • Manual Add Channel - user has the ability to manually add new channels to the existing channel list.


 
Q5: Can the All-in-Wonder® VE card support more than one display at the same time?
 
A5: Yes, All-in-Wonder® VE allows a number of possible display configurations. The VGA connector can be used to drive a CRT monitor. At the same time, the video output can drive a television or VCR.

 
Q6: What connectors are available with the All-in-Wonder® VE ?

  • Stereo audio, S-video and composite video input block.
  • Stereo audio, S-video and composite video output connector.


 
Q7: What are the minimum system requirements of the All-in-Wonder® VE?

  • Intel Pentium® 4/III/II/Celeron™, AMD® K6/Athlon® or compatible with available PCI slot
  • 64 MB of system memory
  • Installation software requires CD-ROM drive
  • DVD playback requires DVD drive
  • 500MHz minimum processor speed for MPEG-2 video capture
  • Interactive Program Guide requires Internet connection for listing updates
  • All-in-Wonder® VE is required to be the primary graphics adapter in PC
