ATI Server Operating System Support
MICROSOFT® Windows®:
ATI is committed to providing a fully qualified - Microsoft® WHQL
certified driver on a semi-annual basis for server operating systems.
To ensure that ATI’s software drivers continually meet with the
highest possible standard of quality and stability, ATI executes a formal
acceptance test on every release update. This testing cycle leverages
Microsoft®’s latest Display Compatibility Test (DCT) kit and
ATI’s acceptance tests. ATI’s current software support is
as indicated in the table below. ATI is committed to providing a solid
software support plan for future Microsoft® server operating systems.
LINUX:
Drivers for ATI server products are available through the
open-source Direct Rendering Infrastructure (DRI) project
and XOrg enabling both OEMs and end-customers to exploit
the depth of the Linux Open-Source Community. ATI provides the Community
with open-source code and other information necessary to support
our latest server products,
after which the Community and the various distributions customize
and integrate the DRI driver for their specific needs.
