AMD’s ATI TV Wonder™ Digital
Cable Tuner is the world’s first CableLabs Certified® OpenCable
Receiver (OCUR) designed to enable OpenCable content on a media PC. The ATI
TV Wonder™ Digital Cable Tuner provides the ability to watch digital
cable television, including stunning high definition programming using a
CableCARD™. The tuner also supports standard analog cable (NTSC), and
ClearQAM (unencrypted digital TV over cable).
A Windows Vista™ Media Center PC supports up to two TV Wonder™ Digital
Cable Tuners in one of five configurations: single external USB 2.0 device,
single internal USB 2.0 card, two external USB 2.0 devices, two internal
cards, or one external device with one internal card.
System Requirements
The ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner is designed to work
with Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Home Premium
based Digital Cable Compatible PCs from leading PC manufacturers.
The tuner connects to an available USB 2.0 port (for external
OCUR); USB 2.0 motherboard header and internal power connector
(for internal OCUR).
