October 11, 2000 - ATI today announced
that starting December 1st, 2000, the company is shipping the
European version of its industry-leading All-in-Wonder 128 PRO
all-in-one TV, video and graphics card with a revolutionary new
TV-on-Demand™ Timeshifting feature at no extra cost. TV-on-Demand™
offers the ability to pause live TV and create instant replays
- letting the user watch what he wants, when he wants to watch
it.
TV-on-Demand
is the latest addition to ATI's Multimedia Center 7.0, the most
comprehensive integrated software control suite on the market.
TV-on-Demand
for pausing live TV, Timeshifting and Instant Replays
TV-on-Demand enables users to pause a live program at any time,
return later, and resume watching exactly where he left off. With
TV-on-Demand, a show can be viewed from the beginning, even after
it has started, without having to wait until the VCR has finished
recording the whole program.
Instant
Replay is also enabled through the TV-on-Demand feature. Users
can quickly step back within a program, watch the selected portion
again and fast forward or skip ahead to the live broadcast.

Multimedia Center 7.0 turns the PC into a Personal Video Recorder
ATI's latest edition of the software application suite Multimedia Center 7.0 enables the best set of DVD, Media Playback and advanced
TV Tuner features which put control into the hands of users -
the true personal digital video recorder.
In
addition to TV-on-Demand, Multimedia Center 7.0 offers a variety
of other smart TV features, including Visual Channel Selection
and Channel Surfing as well as the best video capture solution
on the market.
Visual
Channel Selection and Channel Surfing - display a grid of
snapshots taken from all the channels available allowing the user
to see at a glance what is on. Click once for a preview or twice
to change to that channel.
Digital VCR - All-in-Wonder 128 PRO is a digital replacement
for the VCR, able to save hours of TV and Video for later viewing,
and capture video clips and segments, thanks to ATI's real-time
MPEG-2 compression technology.

an All-in-Wonder 128 PRO may order a free upgrade to Multimedia Center 7.0 under www.ati.com/online/tvondemand.
