with All-in-Wonder® 9600 PRO for Europe and Asia

customers in Europe and Asia the new All-in-Wonder® 9600 PRO with amazing
graphics and multimedia PC features. Designed to receive PAL and SECAM television
signals, the new multimedia video card joins the award-winning All-in-Wonder® family
to deliver stunning visual graphics for games and exciting features such as
FM Radio, Dual VGA support, and Faster-than-Real time DVD / CD Authoring, plus
support for the forthcoming next generation Remote Wonder™ II radio frequency
(RF) Remote Control.
All-in-Wonder 9600 PRO includes ATI’s Radeon® 9600 PRO
graphics chip for startling graphics performance. With 100 per cent
Microsoft® DirectX® 9 support for games of today and tomorrow,
All-in-Wonder 9600 PRO users can explore stunning new worlds of cinematic
gameplay with the unprecedented combination of power and performance.

The new on-board tuner delivers FM radio capability to the PC including
FM-on-Demand that timeshifts radio content to allow for pausing or
exporting to MP3 file formats, 10 preset radio stations, capabilities
to edit station identifiers, plus alarm and sleep settings.
ATI’s award-winning Multimedia Center Software has been updated
to version 8.6, which now includes CD and DVD authoring, including
support for PAL format output. Customers can easily archive recorded
television, video and audio programs to the media of their choice with
a couple of clicks of the mouse.
Intelligent Teletext features address the needs of the European market.
The new video card provides an enhanced Teletext viewer that is fully
integrated into Multimedia Center’s TV Player. This new offering
also enables Hot Words for European customers with real-time word notification
to alert users when specified words or phrases are detected in the
subtitling provided by Teletext in many European broadcasts.
All-in-Wonder 9600 PRO offers support for ATI’s critically acclaimed
Remote Wonder and the forthcoming Remote Wonder II. These RF wireless
Remote Wonder devices work through walls enabling users to maintain
computer access and eliminate the need to point directly at the receiver.
Remote Wonder devices create a home entertainment environment by providing
wireless access to ATI’s popular Multimedia Center features enabled
on Radeon-based video cards.

- Support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL; and,
- Backed by quality ATI customer support and a 3-year limited
warranty, the All-in-Wonder 9600 PRO supports Windows® XP,
Windows® 2000, Windows® Me, and Windows® 98/98 SE (Windows
Me driver can be installed on Windows 98/98SE).
