The ATI FireGL Unified Shader architecture maximize graphics throughput by automatically directing graphics power where it’s needed. All the processing power available on the graphics accelerator is available at all stages of design. Intelligent management of computation resources enables real-time rendering of more complex and realistic images.

ATI FireGL from AMD Assists Filmmaker in Academy Award Triumph For Exceptional Visual Effects
Artists and designers of all abilities count on AMD to provide them with the latest in graphics accelerator technology. Animator Youngwoong Jang, who uses ATI FireGL products, recently produced the highly acclaimed animated short film Mirage and was awarded the Gold Medal in animation by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
